About me
I am currently a postdoc at IMPA. Before that I was a postdoc at the University of Poiters, with Enrica Floris. I did my PhD at the Departement of Mathematics and Computer Science of the University of Basel, under the supervision of Jérémy Blanc.
My main area of research is Birational Geometry; I have worked on birational relations among Mori fibre spaces via the Sarkisov Program, with applications to Cremona groups and geometric realization of automorphisms of K3 surfaces.
Recently I have been enjoying playing around with space curves, as well as understanding sufficient conditions and obstructions to Mori Dreamness for threefolds.
